Triple Chocolate Parfait: A Healthy Chocolate Breakfast

Let's be honest, everyone loves chocolate. And ... some of us more than others. This recipe is perfect for those chocolate superfans that never get sick of it but still want to maintain a healthy diet. This breakfast parfait has 3 chocolatey ingredients: our Turtle Chocolate & Banana Porridge, extra cocoa powder, and our Turtle Cocoa Smiles!

Even though it's indulgent, this recipe is still filled with nutritious ingredients that will keep you full and energised until your next meal! Both our delicious Turtle Chocolate & Banana Porridge and Turtle Cocoa Smiles are high fibre, vegan and organic. This recipe is both good for you and good for the planet!

The ingredients you'll need:

For the base:

For the cream:

  • - 120g cashews
  • - 4 - 5 dried dates
  • - 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • - ½ tsp cinnamon
  • - Pinch of ginger and nutmeg
  • - Pinch of salt
  • - 40 ml dairy or plant-based milk

How to make it:

  1. Combine the Turtle Chocolate & Banana Porridge, milk, chia seeds, cocoa powder, and maple syrup to bowl and let sit overnight.
  2. Pour boiling water over the dates and let sit for 10 minutes to soften.
  3. Place the cashews, vanilla extract, spices, and salt in a blender or food processor and blend until you get a smooth, creamy paste.
  4. Add the milk gradually, just enough to achieve a creamy consistency.
  5. Add the overnight oats to a jar, then add a layer of the date cream, then a layer of yoghurt, and top with Turtle Cocoa Smiles.
