Oats are the cornerstone of any breakfast. Whether you enjoy them with milk, as a warm and comforting porridge, or bake them into delicious granola, their versatility is unmatched. Our small, wholemeal, and organic oats are a must-have in your pantry.
Wholegrain oats preserve the bran, which contains protein, vitamin B, and fiber, as well as the endosperm, which is starchy and satiating. The germ, the innermost part of the grain, contains vitamins, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants. With 12g of fiber and 14g of protein per 100g, these little grains pack a nutritious punch.
Our oats are rolled, meaning they've been flattened between two rollers, preserving all the natural properties of the plant. Rolled oats are more convenient and faster to cook, taking only 5-10 minutes for a creamy, warm porridge.
At Turtle, we prioritize organic farming. It's not a perfect solution, but it's an important step in the right direction. Organic farming is gentler on the environment and biodiversity, which includes other plants, insects, animals, and our water tables. Our Rolled Oats are free from pesticide residue, which is unfortunately often found in conventional products.
While oats are naturally gluten-free, they can be contaminated with wheat, barley, and rye during the harvesting process. For those with celiac disease, we recommend choosing our certified gluten-free oatmeal to ensure safety.
