Materials Needed
To make your Halloween cereal box characters, you’ll need:
- - Empty cereal boxes (any size)

- - Googly eyes
- - Black paper or felt (for facial features)
- - Glue stick or craft glue
- - Scissors
- - Tape

Instructions
1. Prepare the Cereal Boxes
Make sure your empty cereal boxes are clean and closed. Seal the top with tape if needed so the box holds its shape.
2. Wrap the Boxes
Choose the character you want to make:
- - Pumpkin → orange paper
- - Frankenstein → green paper
- - Ghost → white paper
Wrap each box with tissue or crepe paper like a gift and tape or glue the edges to secure.
3. Create the Faces
Time to bring your characters to life!
- - Cut out shapes from black paper:
- 1) Triangles for pumpkin eyes, nose, and teeth
- 2) Zig-zag hair, eyebrows, and stitches for Frankenstein
- 3) Round mouth for the ghost
- - Use googly eyes for extra personality
- - Glue all the shapes onto your boxes
4. Draw the Mouth
Use a black marker to draw the mouth or facial expressions. You can make them funny, spooky, or silly, it’s up to you!
5. Optional: Extra Fun
Want to take it further?
- - Place battery-operated fairy lights inside to turn them into lanterns 🕯️
- - Add glitter, stickers, or little Halloween accessories
- - Create even more characters, like a spooky black cat 🐱🖤 using black paper ears, whiskers, and yellow eyes
- - Make a whole spooky family for your Halloween table or window
