Nuts & Seeds Chocolate Granola Bars: A Healthy Snack Made in Minutes

Autumn is here and we've got the perfect easy snack for busy days. Crunchy, rich in chocolate and made with wholesome cereals, this healthy bar is just what you need for back to school and back to work.

Quick, easy and perfect to meal prep, these bars are ideal to bring to the office or pack in your child’s lunchbox. They are not only delicious but also a better-for-you alternative to candy bars and sugar filled snacks that leave you crashing soon after.

Made with our Nuts & Seeds Power Granola, which is organic, grain free, gluten free and vegan, they are packed with protein and healthy fats to give you lasting energy and keep you full until your next meal.

You'll only need to grab a couple of items from your pantry to start.

Ingredients : 

– 100-150g of Turtle Power Granola Nuts & Seeds (You can use a little more or less depending on how sticky or firm you like your bars.)
– 2 tbsps of peanut butter
– 100g of dark chocolate (or your favourite kind)

Instructions :

For the granola layer:

  1. Add the Turtle Power Granola Nuts & Seeds into a bowl.
  2. Spoon the peanut butter on top and stir until the granola sticks together.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a small square dish (lined with parchment paper for easy removal). 
  4. Press down firmly with the back of a spoon so it’s evenly compact.

For the chocolate coat: 

  1. Melt the chocolate gently, using a double boiler method or microwave.
  2. Pour the melted chocolate over the granola mixture, and spread evenly.
  3. Place in the fridge until the chocolate hardens.
  4. Slice into bars or squares.
