DIY 2: Children's Game

Creating a game with your kids out of empty cereal boxes is a great way to teach them about recycling and environmental responsibility. The process is straightforward and can be completed in a few easy steps.

The equipment

1. Your Turtle cereal box
2. A pair of scissors or a cutter
3. Glue
4. Straws (x6)
5. A marble 

The steps

1. Cut and remove the back of the box

2. Cut the straws

3. Put the glue in the bottom of the box, then arrange and glue the straws as shown in the picture

The rules of the game

Add the marbles to the box, as shown in the picture. Then take the box. Now swing the box from right to left so the marbles pass between the straws and reach the finish. 

Easy and fun, right? Having your children make this game is an excellent way to build their self-confidence and show they can be proud of their accomplishments. As well as being a fun game, your children will be happy to create and be creative.
