Porridge Goji and Chia with Fresh Apple, Roasted Almond, and Salted Caramel
As the weather is soooo cloudy, all we can think about is diving into a warm bowl of porridge, wrapped up in the comfort of our bed. Do you also feel the same? This recipe is a cozy hug from us to you.

Ingredients:
- 50 g Turtle Porridge Goji & Chia
- 180 ml (plant-based) milk
- 1/2 apple, sliced
- handful of roasted almonds
- 100 g granulated cane sugar
- 1 dl heavy cream
- 20 g unsalted butter
- 1 tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
Salted Caramel (several portions):
- Heat granulated sugar in a saucepan until melted and amber-colored.
- Add butter and the heavy cream, stirring until fully melted and combined.
- Sprinkle a little bit sea salt, adjusting to taste.
- Let the caramel sauce cool in the pan, then transfer to a jar and cool to room temperature. Store the surplus for later use.
Breakfast Preparation (one portion):
- In a saucepan, combine Turtle Porridge Goji & Chia with the (plant-based) milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.
- Take out the porridge and place it in your favourite bowl.
- Slice the apple and place it gently on top.
- Sprinkle roasted almonds to your taste.
- Pour the salted caramel on top.
- Enjoy!
